Beginners Course
There is a beginners course in Rugby on Saturday 27th August from 12-14 at Krohnsminde Kunstgress. It is right beside Danmarksplass Bybane stop. Hope to see as many as possible there!
Copenhagen 7’S
A big congratulations to the girls who travelled to Copenhagen to play in the Scandinavian Open 7s at the weekend. The Saturday was rather disappointing, with big losses to Gdansk and Stockholm exiles before a game against Oslo. This game would decide if we played in the plate or bowl competition on Sunday. After having a bit of fun and playing in our costumes for the evening, we weren’t too disappointed to lose 28-14 and end up in the bowl. The Sunday was a slow start, drawing 12-12 against Borås, before we brushed off our hangovers and defeated FRK Awesomeness 40-0. We met Stavanger in the bowl final, winning 29-5. We won a bottle of prosecco and free entry to next years tournament! Well done to Mari, Liz, Hilde, Renate, Katrine, Gina, Anne, Sofie and Susanne. Good to play again with Cecile who joined us from Paris and a great comeback from Sian. Thanks to Hanro for the coaching and Kari for the support!
